Summer vibes shoot for INTERSPORT’s spring/summer swim collection shot in Cape Town, South Africa.
1-day shoot at the pool. 1-day shoot at the beach. Stills and video in several formats to be used on INTERSPORT’s social media channels, instore channels, websites, etc. Fabulous weather. A dream team of people whom we have worked with many times and some for the very first time. It couldn’t have been a more fun, helpful, and ambitious team.

Last week Nafi Thiam broke the indoor pentathlon world record in Turkey. (A pentathlon is a contest featuring five events.) It was incredible shooting her just two weeks prior for Red Bull and Iconic. It’s not often you get to meet and work with a GOAT. Thanks for the good vibes Nafi and team!
We spent a day in the studio with rugby legend Bryan Habana and Markets.com to create images and moving images to announce their 2023 partnership.

INTERSPORT is one of the world’s biggest global sports retailers. Brands we shot: Adidas, Asics, Nike, and Energetics. Our pictures are used for all the INTERSPORT market’s social media channels, websites, and in-store prints.

[commercial] For ophthalmologist Kirstin Uppenkamp’s new practice and website, we photographed her, her practice and team, and her family and friends’ eyes. The eye specialist opened a new practice in January 2022 in Wiesbaden in Germany.

[commercial] A day with the Springboks at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium: We took stills alongside the Energade TV commercial in Pretoria with the Springboks (The South Africa National Rugby Union Team). All players (Siya Kolisi, Franco Mostert, Jaden Hendrikse, Jesse Kriel, Malcolm Marx, Ox Nche, and Thomas du Toit) were super fun to work with. DNA rules for a good & meaningful road trip:
1. Take the long road.
2. Speed does not matter.
3. Stop and turn around for things/places etc. that look interesting.
4. Make time and talk to people.

[editorial] For the November 2019 issue of Cathay Pacific‘s inflight magazine Discovery we traveled to the Cederberg. We stayed at the beautiful Cederberg Ridge Wilderness Lodge, visited Bushmen’s paintings, Clanwilliam, the Skimmelberg Buchu and Rooibos farm and enjoyed it all! What a great country we get to live in! Thanks again to the Hong Kong team for giving us such a great gig. [Have a look at the South Africa feature we shot for Cathay Pacific a while back. I spend two days on Voortrekker Road with Nick Dall interviewing random people – such a good and positive experience. Chatting and meeting people that live in a caravan park, inviting us into their caravans and sharing story after story. It’s such a special road. It reminds me a lot of America.
