What started as a shoot for Porsche GT Circle turned into one of our most unforgettable trips yet. The brief was simple — document Derrick Lim and his remarkable Porsche collection. What we didn’t expect was how deeply this trip would leave its mark on us.

Derrick and his family welcomed us with a warmth that turned a work assignment into something far more meaningful. We rode Kuala Lumpur flat, flew out to the island paradise of Langkawi, and ate our way through everything Malaysia had to offer.

New friendships were made, adventures were had, and memories were collected alongside the cars. Malaysia — a true highlight of 2025.

We’ve long dreamed of creating something unique with Cam’s incredible Porsches. The Porsche GT Circle launch in SA was the perfect opportunity!

This project was a labor of love, spanning over a month as we chased the perfect weather. November in Cape Town threw some wild winds our way, but patience paid off. The final result? Beyond worth it.

Huge thanks to everyone who brought this vision to life—especially the Porsche team in Germany, you guys are incredible! And to Cape Town, you made it easy.

[automotive] Portugal, you were incredible! We had the privilege of heading to the stunning Algarve for Mercedes-Benz to shoot the sleek new CLE 220D. It was a dream project, blending digital and film photography to capture the essence of this beauty.

The breathtaking coastline, vibrant atmosphere, and buzzing beaches packed with tourists and camper vans made the experience unforgettable. And let’s not forget the amazing food and warm-hearted locals who made it all the more special.

500,000th Mercedes-Benz G-Class model

If you ask a child to draw a car, it often resembles a G-Class. It’s a classic, a legend.

We had the incredible experience of shooting the 500,000th Mercedes-Benz G-Class alongside its iconic 1986 brother under the scorching Austrian sun. After our shoot, this milestone vehicle made its way to the Mercedes-Benz museum.

Mercedes-Benz says, “The G-Class has been writing its own success story since 1979. Now, number 500,000 of this off-road icon has left the production line in Graz, Austria. It’s a figure that at the same time underscores its exclusivity as it took more than four decades to reach this important milestone. The commemorative one-off takes us back to its roots – with vintage looks evocative of the 280 ge from one of the very first model years.”

Desmond went to Kenya to document the ASICS Chojo training camp in Iten. Kenya immediately gave a warm welcome with so many friendly faces.

“Walking a few sets of stairs to my bedroom gasping for air I realised the altitude”, says Des. Iten sits 2400 meters high. That’s why the world of endurance athletes comes here to train. We had the honour of shooting Antonina Kwambai (Toronto marathon winner 2022), Mekdes Woldu (French half marathon record holder), John Korir (LA marathon winner 2022) and loads of other champions.

The seven days felt like two. So many new friends were made! Big thanks to ASICS and Hotseat Agency.

A dream team of people whom we have worked with many times and some for the very first time. It couldn’t have been a more fun, helpful, and ambitious team.

A few weeks back we went on a cool mission. Subaru asked us to take photos and videos of the all-new Subaru Crosstrek, and only gravel, please! Heck yes! We took this capable car to the Cederberg to the beautiful Sewefontein Guest Farm and Retreat Guest Farm. The Subaru Crosstrek is the car for an active lifestyle.

Farming is fascinating, hard, real… We love going to the countryside (and always dream of living just surrounded by nature). So when we were asked to document a day of the olive harvest on a farm close to Caledon, we immediately said YES. The key was to take portraits of the pickers and orchard caretakers. We loved spending the day with the crew as well as get to know their nicknames for each other and take in the scenery on a very hot day.
