Porky’s Speedshop / Estoril, Portugal
Rui and his dad, Manuel Esteves, are really something else — legends in Cape Town and also in Lisbon. We met them 13 years ago on a personal project where we shot Rui and his 911, and Manuel and his Mustang Boss (yes, a real one).
Now they’re on a cool new mission. They opened Porky’s Speedshop in Estoril, close to Lisbon (Portugal). They meticulously rebuild air-cooled 911 engines. It’s basically a Porsche Sonderwunsch version, but only for air-cooled engines.
These two are just a joy and an inspiration to us! We’re so happy to see them doing what they love.
