Rolls-Royce Dawn, international launch in Franschhoek, South Africa
{documentary} One morning I sipped on my coffee, browsed my emails and saw a mail from Rolls-Royce Head Office in the UK. I was like WTF!! They asked me to shoot for them for 29 days for the launch of the new Rolls-Royce Dawn. HELL YA!!
It was a tough 29 days (in March 2016). I worked, slept and edited most of the time. Every second day I had five hours off. It must have been one of the coolest job’s I have done in my life. Not only did I get to drive in the coolest cars but I got to meet the world’s top top journalist from all over. Such interesting individuals, every night different people. I also got to know the two head designers and main engineer for Rolls-Royce. I had so many questions for them. (I always wanted to study car design and ended up studying engineering after school.)
Thanks Rolls-Royce for the amazing opportunity, I’m forever grateful. Also a big thanks to the professional services from Delaire Graff Estate where we were based, top top service! DNA – Desmond
