Mari-Louise and Michael, Vlakbult Guestfarm, Free State, South Africa
Get ready for a loooong blog post :) Mari-Louise and Michael are dear friends of ours. Michael and Desmond have been friends for many years, they know each other from ‘back then’, the good old days in Bloemfontein, in the Free State of South Africa. Michael and Mari-Louise got together, when I (Antonia) moved to Cape Town in August 2009… So we watched their love-journey for a while. Mari-Louise (we secretly call her ‘the nerd’) is an architect, Michael builds houses and together they make a great team with a solid foundation. The wedding venue was the beautiful Vlakbult Guestfarm in Clocolan in the Eastern Free State. Since Mari-Louise can easily design and plan big buildings, it was an easy task to plan a cute farm wedding. The ceremony was held under eucalyptus trees, the party in a 150 year old sandstone milk shed. We were blessed with more than an amazing sunset. Friends, it was a blast documenting your day!
