How amazing is it that we get flown to places we haven’t been to before ‘just’ to shoot a wedding. We are awesomely blessed.
So last weekend we flew from Cape Town to Bloemfontein and drove back south on the N1 to shoot Leanne and Gertjan’s wedding at the Gariep Dam in the Central Karoo. What an amazing, different setting?! We loved the road trip and also, the wedding was a little bit of a road trip. The wedding ceremony was in the church of the little town Philippolis, the first part of the reception at a beautiful farm between Philippolis and the Gariep Dam (remember the dusty road) and the evening reception at the Destijl Gariep Hotel. It was one cool affair with music (yes, Gertjan is a singer), candle light and lot’s of laughter and joy. Thanx for flying us in to be part of this awesome day.
Toni & Desmond
